The TCBB is the largest one-day tournament on the Treasure Coast. The bonitos are
always biting at this time of the year! To date, the tournament has raised over $300,000 for
the WVRF, which has provided assistance to approximately 130 veterans (https://wvrf.org).
Please do your part to give back to those who gave so much by supporting the TCBB. This
is our way of giving back, especially for those of us who did not serve.
The WVRF was founded in 2009 to assist qualified disabled post 9/11 veterans transition These working mothers and fathers demonstrate how it’s possible to juggle work and
into civilian life. The organization provides immediate emergency financial support to caring for a baby and handle their feedings as well. In 2018 the nonprofit established
these much deserving veterans. More than 85 percent of all funds donated to WVRF goes their own parental leave policy for their employees, providing six weeks of paid leave

Bart’s Blue Star Foundation
Awards Grants To Treasure Coast Organizations
Bart’s Blue Star Foundation recently awarded two grants to two Treasure Coast
nonprofit organizations. The foundation awarded $3,000 to Childcare Resources of
Indian River County and $2,750 to the YMCA of the Treasure Coast.
The foundation’s mission is to support families, children, and adults working with
children through programs that promote social-emotional growth and the development
of emotional intelligence. Its focus is on offering support to entities using strategies
