       The Photo Corner:

The Art of Seeing - Looking Straight Ahead

       By George Steinman

          As I selected the topic
       Looking up and Down last
month, it was a natural choice
       to have Looking Straight
       Ahead for this month’s
       photographic topic. From
       some of my past photographic
       experiences, I learned

       assignments in photo classes
and also entering photographs in National Geographic Your

photographic creativity. It stimulates the photographic genes
as I call them to really see what our wonderful planet is all

remember include, as examples, the Color Red, Reflections,
Shadows, Black on Black, Our Four Legged Friends, Style, My
Favorite Place, and Hands. The creation of the photographs for
the selected topic is left solely to the imagination and feelings
vision and the ability of the photographer. As an example,
photographs for the topic Hands Up could range anywhere
from a grandmother holding a baby to say a violinist playing a
violin to hands up in the air while dancing to the song YMCA Staghorn Plant Tillandsia Air Plant
