From Rapper to Rabbi
Chabad of Palm Beach Gardens recently welcomed
Rabbi Motti Flikshtein of the Chabad of Wilmington, DE,
who told his deeply personal and entertaining story as part
of Chabad’s Windows to the World series. He recounted the
story of a misguided teenager who had no Jewish education
whatsoever whose life was transformed by a powerful hug
from the Chabad rabbi of Bucks County, Pennsylvania,
one Friday night. With humor and sometimes choked with
emotion, Rabbi Motti, formerly Matt, spoke of the various
personalities and Divine Providence that guided him along
his journey back to his Jewish roots.
