       The Honda Classic To Distribute A Near Record $5.1 Million

       To Local Charities Despite The Challenges Of The Pandemic

      More Than 100 Charities And 100,000 Children
      Will Be Impacted By Honda Classic Cares

        The Honda Classic is awarding $5.1 million to 100 South Florida philanthropic
      organizations in 2021, a number that approaches tournament record levels despite the
      widespread impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
        The $5.1 million distribution during Honda Classic Cares Week (June 7 to 10) will
      impact the lives of more than 100,000 children and provide a much-needed boost to
      South Florida community charities that faced their own fiscal challenges in a tough year.
        The Honda Classic has now surpassed $55 million in charitable contributions as
      American Honda approaches its 41st year as title sponsor of the PGA TOUR event,

      And Raises $65,000 At 37th Annual Women In

      Leadership Awards

        More than 250 sponsors, nominees and guests participated in the Executive Women
      of the Palm Beaches Foundation’s (EWPBF) 37th Annual Women In Leadership Awards
      (WILA), a virtual celebration launched on YouTube on Friday, April 30.
        In partnership with Keynote Speaker Joi Gordon of Dress for Success Worldwide and
      the Palm Beach affiliate of Dress for Success, EWPBF donated a $5,000 honorarium to
      the organization as part of the event. In addition, WILA attendees donated 19 business
      suits and more than 30 pairs of shoes, 24 handbags, undergarments, and makeup in a
      drive-up donation event.
        “With the reduced capacity to collect donations of items and funding over the past

      National Monument Honors Courageous
      Canines Who Served In U.S. Armed Forces

      From Civil War To Today

        There are some 2,700 dogs currently in active military service and about 700 who are
      deployed overseas, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. But for the most part,
      these courageous canines – like the countless thousands who served in the military dating
      back to the Civil War – have not been given the credit due to them for their heroic acts on
      and off the battlefield.
