1 OUT participation rates of all the 5K events on the Treasure
Coast. The race was held in Stuart, Fla., at Memorial
Park with a course which showcased the downtown area
and businesses. There were a variety of vendors and
an informational booth that was run by volunteers of
labor and delivery nurses from Cleveland Clinic Martin
OF 8 and Cleveland Clinic Tradition. They showcased a
cuddle cot and how it was used in their hospitals. Many
families attended from near and far to help honor babies
gone too soon. There were kids’ activities, fairy hair
and a wagon and stroller decorating contest with raffles
and prizes.
Madison’s Miracles Founder and Executive
Director Christina Stamper said after the race, “We
MEN our organization today. We had a great turnout and
would like to thank everyone who came out to support
a fantastic group of sponsors, board members and
volunteers who made this such a success. Thank
you also, to the City of Stuart and the Stuart Police
Department for their help.”
Madison’s Miracles is a 501(c)(3) founded by
Chris and Christina Stamper after the loss of their
daughter, Madison Elizabeth Stamper. Mrs. Stamper
wanted to use her tragedy and turn it into helping
other families who experience loss. They also provide
funeral expenses, support groups and grief counseling
to families who have experienced pregnancy or
infant loss. They strive to honor all babies gone too
soon every day. For more information on the cuddle
cot or their additional services, please visit www.
