Aerosmith Tribute Band Jaded Entertains
Report and Photos by
Penny and Wally Sheltz
Hundreds of music
lovers of Aerosmith
songs enjoyed the concert
presented by the tribute
band Jaded at Downtown
at the Gardens.
Back when Aerosmith
released their debut album
in 1973, the Boston-bred
band wanted to be the
Rolling Stones.
Some well-documented
personal battles sidelined
Aerosmith in the early ’80s before a triumphant comeback
later that decade turned them into even bigger stars. The
songs span the ’70s through the late ’90s. The Jaded band
had Aerosmith shotgun guitar riffs and Jagger-like moves.
Everyone at Downtown Friday night enjoyed their top
songs including Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion, Dream
On, Janie’s Got A Gun, Kings and Queens, Cryin’, Dude
(Looks Like a Lady), SOS, Mama Kin, Livin’ on the Edge, I
Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, Back in the Saddle, and more.
