Maltz Jupiter Theatre Cancels
Production Of Jersey Boys
At Roger Dean Chevrolet
Stadium With Hope Of
Rescheduling
Due to various challenges in preproduction, the opening
show of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s 2021/22 Grand Reopening
Season has been dropped.
With profound regret and disappointment, the Maltz Jupiter
Theatre has made the decision to cancel the production of
Jersey Boys at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, with the hope of
remounting the show in the future. Like all Maltz Jupiter Theatre
productions, this was an ambitious project which included
building a professional stage outdoors during a pandemic and
required the collaboration and coordination of multiple vendors.
Ultimately the Maltz Jupiter Theatre experienced a confluence of
issues unique to this show including supply chain delays, material
cost escalation, engineering issues, and skilled labor shortages.
“As many know, arts and culture have struggled over the
past two years and the last thing we want to do is disappoint our
patrons and partners, but unfortunately this decision is a result
of the current climate in our pandemic world,” said Andrew
Kato, producing artistic director and chief executive of the Maltz
Jupiter Theatre. “Over the past year, Roger Dean Chevrolet
Stadium and the Town of Jupiter have worked side by side
with the Maltz Jupiter Theatre in an effort to bring baseball and About The Maltz Jupiter Theatre
