Palm Beach Synagogue and United Hatzalah have had a close
relationship for many years. As a Board Member of Hatzalah,
the Ambassador was one of the first to encourage Founder Eli
Beer to integrate Arabs and Israelis into his organization of first
responders to better serve the country. This unity has been a
metaphor for Israel, as it is a very diverse, democratic country,
with its inhabitants working together as neighbors to keep each Rabbi Moshe Scheiner,

individuals had to learn to read Hebrew from the beginning with
the aleph bet (ABCs). Now, the class is able to conduct Friday
Kabbalat Shabbat services and Shabbat morning services. Each
student chanted a portion from the Torah (first five books of the
Hebrew Bible) where the words are written in Hebrew with
no vowels or punctuation marks. Thankfully, Rabbi Resnick’s
technological skills are impressive so the majority of the classes
were able to take place over Zoom during the pandemic.
Family members traveled from near and far to witness this
milestone event, knowing the importance of passing on the
traditions to the next generation.
The class had some challenging times during the pandemic

just a group of individuals, they are now one caring family

to stand before God, family, and friends.
