Following the silent auction, guests enjoyed a fabulous lunch
and short video about the amazing work of the Cancer Alliance
before Jonathan Duerr led the live auction that featured an array
of exclusive and unique items to bid on.
The event’s finale was when Christie Brinkley took the
stage. In an interview format, Christie shared with the audience
various fun, exciting and heartfelt anecdotes about her life as
an American model, actress, entrepreneur, and mother. Christie
gained worldwide fame with her appearances in the late 1970s
Sport Illustrated swimsuit issues. She spent 25 years as the Virginia Gildea and Sheila Lois Richards and Gloria Adriana Luchechko and

covers and signed contracts with major brands, both fashion
and non-fashion. She has also worked as an actress, illustrator,

much-needed programs and services for local families impacted
by cancer.”
