Set To Come To Abacoa

Smooth STB (Santana Tribute Band) is composed of local South Florida pro musicians who
bring you the best in the total Santana experience and then some. The music is guaranteed to be as
close as you can get to the original Santana sound throughout the years, aside from Carlos Santana
himself. Smooth STB prides themselves in being the best Santana tribute band in the world.

Come out to the Abacoa amphitheater on Saturday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. to enjoy this
free concert under the stars. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Chairs, blankets
and coolers are welcome.

Abacoa Community Garden

The Vision And Creation

Tom and Liz Poulson, retired professor of ecology and
instructor of nursing, respectively, found that Abacoa, in
spite of its design to enhance community spirit, was missing
an important element – a community garden. After searching
for suitable sites, they and other early founders, created an
agreement with the Lifesong Church, now Renewal Church,
to cultivate the 120- by 60-foot plot of land on the corner
of South Community Drive and Central Boulevard.
