Chasin A Dream Foundation Raises $250,000
For Local Children Battling Life Threatening Illnesses
COVID delayed the much anticipated annual
fundraiser, We Rock As Lions, for Chasin A Dream
and the community rallied to support the luncheon
held on April 4 at the Wyndham Grand Jupiter.
The event celebrates the bravery of local
children battling cancer, cystic fibrosis, heart
disease and other life threatening illnesses and
disabilities. Children, ranging in age from 2-year-
old Grace Renfrow currently undergoing grueling
treatment for stage IV neuroblastoma to 17-year-
old Geo Marquea battling leukemia, brought
tears of joy to guests and cheers could be heard
throughout the hotel as they rocked the runway.

On Wednesday, April 27, first responders were honored at
the Palm Beach North Chamber’s Fourth Annual Valor and
Community Service Awards breakfast presented by Florida
Public Utilities and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. These
awards recognize first responder honorees within Palm Beach
North, and their outstanding service beyond the call of duty.

Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope (CAHH) hosted Dance event that raised over $400,000 for local cancer patients.
