Jupiter High School Band Awarded The Prestigious
Otto J. Kraushaar Award For The First Time Since 1992
The Jupiter Community High School Band was
awarded the distinguished Otto J. Kraushaar Award from
the Florida Bandmasters Association (FBA) on April
27 at the 2022 Florida Bandmasters Association Music
Performance Assessment (MPA). It is the first time since
1992 that the Jupiter High School Band has been awarded
this prestigious award.
The Otto J. Kraushaar Award is given to those band
programs in the state that have earned straight superior
ratings at all Florida Band Association events during a
single school year, including marching, district concert,
and state concert competitions.
