presentation was titled “Our Favorite
Plants,” and he included his wife,
Sharon, in the discussion. After all,
the plants chosen grow in the yards

umbrella of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs
(FFGC) and the National Garden Clubs. In addition it
belongs to Mounts Botanical Gardens. While monthly
meetings are ways of educating its members and having
time to socialize, the club raises money through dues and
fundraising to donate money for scholarships such as
FFGC’s scholarship fund and the FFGC’s Wekiva camp.
The garden club is open to anyone wanting to learn
more about gardening, the environment, helpful insects,
flower arranging, etc. The monthly topics change but
are subjects that encourage a mixture of interests and
discussions. Meetings are the first Wednesday of the
month through May, and all are welcome to attend. Please

Season
Is Here!
Along with season comes the increased
temptation to utilize the golf courses as a park/
playground, but we must ask you to refrain
from any non-golf related access.
Maintenance is performed on all the courses
during the year, so there is equipment and work
being done. In addition, it is a time when there
are more golfers on the course enjoying our
beautiful weather.
Thank you
