Helping People Succeed
Holds Its Annual Meeting
By Jackie Holfelder
Some nonprofits hold annual meetings that are strictly
businesslike: review the past year, discuss goals for the
future, swear in new board members and disperse.
At Helping People Succeed (HPS), they do things a
little differently. The usual components are there, but the
abundance of admiration, gratitude and respect that infuses
every aspect of the meeting sets a wonderful tone.
Recently, Helping People Succeed held the important
yearly event at its headquarters in Jensen Beach. Following
presentations about not only the 501(c) (3) itself, but also
the Helping People Succeed Foundation, special awards
were given to departing board members Susan King and Board members, volunteers and guests at the HPS Annual Meeting
Kevin Burn.
Suzy Hutcheson, president/CEO of Helping People Yingling were welcomed.
