their bank accounts, support system and job
prospects because of their substance use
disorder. Now, even though sober, the ability
to get funds to continue their education and
solidify their future was nonexistent.
Mark Garwood SHARE Foundation
scholarships of up to $5,000 each are
given to candidates who have completed a
challenging application process. This year,
for the first time, funding was available to
give scholarships to all six finalists, who
weren’t aware of the news until their names
