South Florida Fair Announces
Varied Lineup Of 2020 Concerts
The 2020 South Florida Fair will be hosting a variety of
concerts featuring genres ranging from Christian and country
to rock ‘n’ roll and oldies. The fair’s 2020 theme is “Play
Ball, Play Fair!” and will kick off with its Ride-A-Thon at
5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, followed by the full fair from
Jan. 17 to Feb. 2, at the fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Blvd.
Cory Asbury will begin the concert series on the Coca-
Cola stage in the Party Pavilion at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan.

To celebrate 20 years of “The Starz of the Future,” the
largest talent competition in South Florida, the fair will
host a Starz MVP (Most Valuable Performers) fundraising
concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23. Starz of the Future
has hosted thousands of aspiring artists and is the largest
competition over five counties.
“The Starz will feature and honor previous Starz
participants and winners who have carved out incredible
careers and made an impact in the music and entertainment
industry,” said founder and event organizer Maggi
Rosenberg. “To celebrate this special milestone, this
concert will benefit a local charitable organization and
establish scholarships for high school students interested
in the arts and entertainment industry.”
Starz performers will include Chris Grant, Beyoncé’s
longtime choreographer; singer-songwriter-storyteller
Michaela Paige, Season 3 runner-up on NBC’s The Voice;
Emmy and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jaime
Floyd; and Prodigal Son, a seven-time Billboard-charting
gospel rap artist who rhymes about his rough and tumble
past life on the streets.
At 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, The Lettermen are
expected to draw a large crowd during Seniors Day. For
