The February Monthly Networking Breakfast was held at
the lovely Piper’s Landing Yacht and Country Club in Palm
City. Piper’s Landing is located at 6160 S.W. Thistle Terrace, in
Palm City. Over 80 members and guests attended and received
a wonderful breakfast before our presentations.
Our first sponsor was Thomas Davies with Davies Wealth
Management. Thomas shared information regarding the
financial situation today and how we can make appropriate
choices for our own financial benefit. He included his family
in his PowerPoint which shows the type of gentleman that

Connelly donated his time to Kevin Abate from the Martin Michelle O’Donnell, State Insurance, and Deputy Rhyss Heeter
County Parks and Recreation Department. Kevin was able to
update us on all the improvements to the parks and beaches
in Martin County. The Martin County Parks and Recreation
Department manages more than 1,700 acres of public land
which consists of 72 public parks, beaches and causeways
including a public golf course, waterpark, campground,
community centers and much more. There are more than 600
public park agencies in the State of Florida. The Department is
one of 23 public park agencies in the State that are accredited
by the National Recreation and Parks Association, Commission
for Accreditation of Parks and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA).
The Parks in Martin County are highlights that we should
focus on when recruiting new businesses to our area. Martin
