PBGGC News

The Palm Beach Gardens Garden Club (PBGGC) had a
change in pace with its Dec. 3 meeting when the club gathered
at the home of Cheryl and Chet Drake in PGA National for
the annual holiday party. Those who attended that evening
brought a potluck dish and plenty of holiday spirit. The group
enjoyed the socializing, eating a variety of delicious foods,
and getting to know other members in a festive, comfortable
setting.
While the club meets on the first Wednesday of the month,
the next meeting was on Jan. 8, since the first Wednesday
in January fell on New Year’s Day. It was still held in the
Gardens Branch Library on Campus Drive in Palm Beach
Gardens at 7 p.m. The public was welcomed to attend and
enjoy the PowerPoint presentation by member Michael Pusin
on his “Favorite Plants” that he has photographed around the
world. His photos always bring wonderful comments by the Cheryl and Chet Drake welcomed garden club members into
audience, so members look forward to this new presentation. their home in December.

A guest of the Drakes, Pat, finds a lot in common with Jane
Turner after learning they lived in the same neighborhood.
