25 United Cleans Up from page 1

A group of concerned local political leaders have been
involved with the cleanup and will be focusing on the
fragility of Hobe Heights’ drainage problems going forward.
Included in the group are Martin County Commissioners
Ed Ciampi, Sarah Heard, Stacey Hetherington and
Harold Jenkins; State Senator Gayle Harrell and U.S.
Representative Brian Mast.
Martin County Fire Rescue Chief Bill Schobel and his
entire emergency management team also helped facilitate
the effort.
On Sunday, June 15, the displaced families and volunteers
enjoyed brunch at Harry & The Natives in Hobe Sound.
Afterwards, volunteers returned to the site to finish the 25 United volunteers remove drywall and other debris from
