Gratitude
There is that word again. Those of us who are well
and are getting enough of necessities can be grateful
for that. That would be most of us, I think.
Not My Nature
I enjoy being lighthearted, upbeat and funny. I
perform that way in the company of others. Always
have, even as a troubled child. Partly not to engender
sympathy. Why bring them down? What I have written
in this piece is far less fun. But it felt right.
Interesting Thought
Mark Twain said, “It is better to remain silent and
be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove
all doubt.”
