Little Smiles Expands from page 1
pantries with comfort foods. Funds from the toy drive also
go towards fulfilling individual family requests which has
also seen a huge increase in demand. A $100 donation
stuffs a stocking with presents and holiday treats
for children! A $150 donation helps produce a movie
night!
For the first time this year, Little Smiles kicked
off its annual toy drive over the summer with a
magical Christmas in July parade through the Heights
neighborhood in Jupiter. For over an hour, Santa and
his elves paraded down each street to holiday music
collecting presents and donations along the way all while
spreading early holiday cheer when families needed it
most! Little Smiles is proud to announce, thanks to the
community’s generosity, Little Smiles collected 238 toys. Jerry Somma, Virginia Sinicki and Nicole Grossmayer
So far, the Little Smiles Toy Drive has already raised
nearly $30,000.
Once again this year, Little Smiles is thrilled to have
the North Pole at Harbourside Place where volunteers will
be collecting, sorting and distributing gifts. People can
also text LITTLESMILES to 44321 and donate through
texts and online. All gifts collected on land at the Palm
Beach Holiday Boat parade will also benefit Little Smiles
Toy Drive.
Little Smiles is a volunteer-driven nonprofit
organization that helps caring professionals bring joy
to children in tough situations. A wide range of caregivers
help children of all ages who are facing devastating
circumstances including terminal illness, abandonment
and other trauma.
