On November 16, 2020 our President, Pat Deshong,
awarded The Queen of Palm Beach Herme De Wyman Miro
with the prestigious CIGO award.
Furry Friends created the CIGO award to honor people
who best exemplify the nonprofit’s mission: to rescue,
rehabilitate, and re-home abused and abandoned dogs
and cats. The CIGO award was named after the Palm
Beach County Sheriff’s Office K-9 killed in the line of
duty on Christmas Eve in 2018. The CIGO Award stands
for Courage, Integrity, Genuine, and an Outstanding Paid Advertisement
