at Monarch Country Club

Our January Networking Breakfast was held on January
27 at the wonderful Monarch Country Club. Members
were given the opportunity to network while social
distancing and wearing their masks before a delicious
breakfast. We learned a great deal about a delicate but
extremely important subject, pre-planning, from Charity
Ginger and Susan King from Martin Funeral Homes.
They are available to assist you so that your loved ones
are not responsible for this task at a most difficult time.
Kate Cotner from Florida Power and Light was a star
virtually. She gave us information on the amazing new
improvements that Florida Power and Light is doing for
our community and environment.

42nd Annual black and white installation Affair

Our 42nd Annual Black and White Installation Affair
was held on Saturday, February 6 at the Village Club and
Preserve outdoor pavilion in Martin Downs Country Club.
The event was our opportunity to welcome and swear in
our new Board of Directors and Officers. The Honorable
Martin County Judge Jennifer Waters gave the oath of
office to our new board. The event was highlighted with our
award winners. Our 2020 Business of the Year is Tami Karol
Insurance. The 2020 New Business of the Year is Crafted
by Tara Biek Creative. Our Ambassador of the Year is Mike
Gonzalez with ITS Fiber. We have a special award for a
dedicated community member and this year the Michele
Dutro Radcliffe Award was presented to Bob Thornton with
O’Donnell Impact Windows and Storm Protection.
