Phyllis is a wife, mother, grandmother, painter, poet, author and poker
player. She was born in the depths of the Great Depression in 1930 in
Meriden, Connecticut.
Phyllis has tremendous energy. Back in the day her grade school had
only two rooms. Grades one through four were in one room and grades
ve through eight were in another. There were no school buses so Phyllis
had to walk the one and a half miles to and from school. In 1952 she left the
