Palm Beach Symphony’s Virtual Gala Hit All The Right Notes
Palm Beach Symphony Members Also Enjoyed An
Exclusive In-Person Watch Party Of Virtual Event
Before Attending The Gala Concert
A generous challenge grant of $100,000 by a mystery
donor and the tantalizing reveal of next season’s
spectacular lineup of acclaimed guest artists made Palm
Beach Symphony’s 19th Annual Gala a tremendous
success, raising more than $355,000.
“We are very grateful for the exceedingly generous
matching grant by our anonymous donor and also for
those who attended the gala and were so giving with their
auction bids that support our work in the community,”
said Palm Beach Symphony CEO David McClymont.
“The theme of this year’s gala was ‘Sustaining the Note,’
and we sincerely thank everyone who enabled Palm Beach Carol and Jerome Trautschold
Symphony to meet all the unprecedented challenges of the
past year to continue our community impact and present Palm Beach Symphony’s Virtual Gala
a world-class 2020/21 season.” Carol and Tom Bruce Will and Mary Demory on page 15
While the gala was presented virtually, 60 guests
attended a socially-distanced watch party in the cozy and
elegant setting created in the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis
Center for the Performing Arts. The culinary wizards CAMPBELL AND KARLIK, P.A.
at The Breakers, the site of the symphony’s 2022 gala,
created a mouth-watering menu that included a delightful ATTORNEYS AT LAW
heirloom tomato salad overture followed by an expertly
prepared peppercorn seared filet of beef and a flavorful
finale of desserts including, of course, a symphony torte.
