reviewed a grant request from House of Hope for its
client choice pantry – one of 43 grant requests that United
Way of Martin County received this year. During the site
visit, they listened to a presentation from House of Hope
staff, took a tour of the food pantry and spent an hour
volunteering in the nutrition center packaging sandwiches
for House of Hope clients.

LEADERship’ Scholarship
The “Nancy Sailer Youth LEADERship”
Scholarship recipient for 2021 is Jillian Plymale. She
is a youth graduate of the Martin Youth LEADERship
Program and a senior at Martin County High School.
LEADERship Martin County Alumni Foundation for
Youth Inc. established their youth scholarship in 1997 NoN-Toxic cancer immunotherapy
for a graduate of their youth program for $8,000 per
student over a four-year period at college.
In high school Jillian participated in youth,
