a lifeline for the symphony David McClymont, Askar Salimdjanov, Jonathan Solars
      early on when we desperately
needed funds and it is my
      distinct pleasure to induct the
Parks as the first members of Patrick and Milly Park
      the Golden Baton Society.
This was made possible because of the first meeting in 1998,
between Dale McNulty and Patrick Park, Park Foundation

are sponsoring one of the most sought after world pianists,
Maria Joao Pires, performing March 2022,” McClymont said.
McClymont also paid tribute to the symphony’s late

The elegant evening, with the Parks serving as honorary

centennial honoree Hermé de Wyman Miro, began with
cocktails on The Terrace as mariachi played and a cigar

exquisite view of the Intercoastal Waterway. Once seated
