       thursday, October 7

       speak life the Musical

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Martin County prepared
an amazing spread for our Breakfast Before Business
on Thursday, October 7 at Speak Life the Musical. This
was the Ribbon Cutting for Speak Life the Musical as
well as an opportunity for our members to meet with Dr.
Alex Anzalone, the President of the Chastain Campus of
Indian River State College. Dr. Anzalone spoke about the
programs offered at IRSC and the connection between the
college students and our local businesses. He emphasized
the partnerships and pathways that are being created.
Speak Life the Musical is a fully produced movie about
ending bullying in our schools. Of course, this will create The Speak Life the Musical End Bullying team, Dan Burd,
a better way of life for all young people and improve Michelle Morehouse, Rebecca Burd, and Madge Brown
their future as employees and employers. The film was
produced since Speak Life was no longer able to perform
their live performances at schools because of COVID.
This film, supported by the Justin Simmons Foundation,
will now allow this amazing program to go international.
There are many facets to the program including a large
group viewing, student and teacher lessons and a family
component. The Palm City Chamber will continue to do
our part to promote this organization.
