Palm Beach Gardens Veterans Day

The City of Palm Beach Gardens held
a Veterans Salute Celebration on the
11th month and the 11th day at 11 a.m.
featuring the Florida National Guard 13th
Army Band concert which entertained with
many great songs like John Philip Sousa
marches, America the Beautiful, Stars and
Stripes Forever and Lee Greenwood’s God
Bless America.
Veterans and guests enjoyed the Veterans
Plaza Amphitheater with many showing their
pride for the red, white and blue to honor
and salute our veterans who have served this
nation with distinction.
Special recognition went to honor
97-year-old Julius Duhl who was a camera
man in the Battle of the Bulge and landed
on D-Day on Omaha Beach in Normandy.
