On Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, members of the Jupiter
High School Band delivered 72 donated Christmas trees
to the Place of Hope in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
The Jupiter High School Band sells Christmas trees each
October as a fundraising activity for the school’s music
program. In 2019, the band added an extra line to its standard
order form that allowed individuals to donate a 5- to 6-foot
tree to a local charity, Place of Hope. Drum Major Zoie Kline
developed the partnership between the band and Place of
Hope and named the program “Spirit Trees.”
