Jupiter’s Senior Softball
When it comes to “star power” Jupiter’s Senior Softball
program has it, thanks to nearly a dozen standout players,
all in their 80s, who have been inducted into the National
Senior Softball Hall of Fame (HOF) in the last 25 years.
Three of the honorees are longtime Jupiter players who
are participating in the Jupiter Senior Softball Association’s
(JSSA) 2022 Winter League. They are: Rocco Cambareri,
inducted in 2006, Norm Haltrich, inducted 2017, and Scott
Logan, a 2021 honoree. Ted Battistone, who died in 2020,
was a 2005 inductee and was the inaugural inductee in the
JSSA’s Hall of Fame.
JSSA Commissioner Tom Cosentino said the association
is fortunate to have a total of eleven players as National Hall
