What’s Next For The
Loxahatchee Guild?
The Loxahatchee
Guild provides ongoing
support of the Jupiter
Inlet Lighthouse and
Museum as well as
the Flagler train depot
and Aicher House at
Sawfish Bay Park.
The Pineapple House
renovation at DuBois
Park is also among the ongoing projects of the guild.
The group is hopeful that plans can move forward on
renovations for the historic 1927 Jupiter Elementary
Auditorium, which has been stalled for several years.
“It is exciting to see individuals in the community
embracing the history of the area. The new Sims House
restaurant is a great example of something old becoming new
again,” said Cindy Wester, Loxahatchee Guild president.
The group already has plans for their annual Party
for Preservation gala to be held at the Pelican Club
in Jupiter, Feb. 9, 2023. For more information, email
loxahatcheeguild@gmail.com.
