Rep. Frankel Announces $998,900
In Federal Funding To The Lord’s Place
Rep. Lois Frankel (FL-21), a member of the House
Appropriations Committee, visited The Lord’s Place on
Wednesday, March 23, to announce $998,900 in new funding
included in the Federal Fiscal Year 2022 spending bill, which
Congress passed this month and then was signed by President
Joe Biden. Congresswoman Frankel made the announcement
in the presence of The Lord’s Place executive leadership
team, program directors, board members, and clients who will
directly benefit from the federal funding.
The Lord’s Place is a nonsectarian, social impact
organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness
by providing innovative, compassionate and effective services
to men, women, and children in the Palm Beach County
community. The agency requested funding to renovate
elements of its Family Campus, recently named the Jack
and Evelyn Alexander Place, which consists of apartments, a
community center, and a youth center that is called home by The Lord’s Place CEO Diana Stanley gives remarks after Rep. Frankel announced new funding for the social impact agency
which works to end homelessness in Palm Beach County.
