SWA Waste Matters

The SWA Surplus Auction Is Oct. 15 Is It Recyclable?

Transfer trailers, excavators, loaders, dozers, heavy and light equipment, trucks, cars,
SUVs and other Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County surplus items will be sold to
the highest bidder, regardless of price. The SWA Absolute Auction starts at 9 a.m. Saturday,
Oct 15, with no buyer’s premium, no minimums and no reserves. The SWA Absolute Auction
will take place rain or shine at the SWA Main Landfill Entrance, 6890 N. Jog Road in West
Palm Beach.

• Celebrate America Recycles Day with the SWA on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. And Bulk Waste Pickup Days
• Tour the cleanest and greenest waste to energy facility. See how your blue and yellow bin
recyclables are processed. Know your pickup days – visit swa.org/mypickupdays. You can also sign up for reminders
• Drop off home chemicals. to put out your trash.
• Get up to six boxes of personal documents shredded for free. Have a collection concern? Call SWA customer service at (561) 697-2700 or (866) SWA-

This application has the ability to upload pictures of the affected areas.
