         DAStoberfest 2022 favorites were delicious.
      was a blast featuring
      Sister Hazel and Spin
      Doctors live at the
      Abacoa Amphitheater.
      The event featured
      lots of good Bavarian
      food and drinks with
      authentic German
      cooking, domestic and
      imported beer.
In their fifth year of celebrating Oktoberfest in Downtown
Abacoa, DAS Beer Garden welcomed ’90s rock favorites,
Sister Hazel and local favorite, Spin Doctors, to the 2022
DAStoberfest stage. Hometown indie guitar band, Surfer
      Blood, opened the show.
      Abacoa Goes Green

         The Abacoa
      Green Market was
      started in the fall of
      2021 to bring the
      community together
      to support local
      businesses. Ryan
      Witkowski, owner
      of Stadium Grill,
      wanted to bring
      people to Abacoa
while also getting the word out about all the local vendors.
There is live music on the main stage weekly, October
through May, every Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. The
market started with 30 vendors and now, on a weekly
basis, there are between 35 to 40 with lots of room to
grow. There are a wide variety of vendors which include
seafood, baked goods, fresh produce and bread, CBD
products, arts and crafts and so much more.
This season the Abacoa Green Market will be rolling
out a few new enhancements to bring out more friends and
families with nonprofit highlights, themed markets, and
young entrepreneurs. They will also bring back a loyalty
card program where you have the chance to receive gift
certificates to local restaurants and vendors of the market.
