Flat Out Adoptable: New
Program Aims To Help
Long-Term Shelter Pets
The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast is
introducing an innovative new program — Flat Out
Adoptable — to help its longest term shelter pets that are
waiting for their forever home. With this program, the
nonprofit organization will provide a life-size cardboard
cutout of an adoptable animal to a supporter who will
promote the pet by displaying it everywhere from a car
window and front door to the workplace and more.
“Our goal is that these images and also videos will
attract new potential adopters to come and see our featured
pets and consider them for adoption,” said Sarah Fisher,
