      RE/MAX Of Stuart Renames

      Florida Cracker House
      Exhibit With Major Upgrades

         On Thursday, Dec. 8,
      The Children’s Museum of
      the Treasure Coast (TCM)
      celebrated the renaming and
      improvements of one of its
      original exhibits: the Florida
      Cracker House. Jennifer
      Atkisson-Lovett and her RE/
      MAX of Stuart team have
signed up for another 10 Tammy Calabria and Jennifer
years as the naming sponsor, bringing their total support to Atkisson-Lovett Lynn Croft, Jordan Carr, Brandi Pearson, Jennifer Atkisson-Lovett, Julie Albert,
date to over $150,000! RE/MAX of Stuart’s support brings Kasia D’Auria, Patti Hancock, Dominique Bravoco Donoghue, Tammy Calabria,
exciting new elements and upgraded exhibits. Photos by Sevin Bullwinkle Denise Slovak, Cece Frost and Katie Makemson

Most notably are the Big Blue Blocks. A favorite in major
children’s museums, children have an opportunity to test their
architectural, engineering, and construction skills. Made out
of waterproof industrial foam, museum guests have already
been constructing houses, creating tracks to move the balls,
and building large walls. The “blocks” are a breakthrough play
space concept designed to encourage child-directed free play.
Benefits include problem solving, creativity, and social skills.
In addition to the Big Blue Blocks, there is a new
      Everglades-themed sensory wall, a see-through wall that
teaches visitors what happens behind the walls in their own
homes, and a large flat screen TV for presentations.
Furthermore, the Florida Cracker House is now a flexible
space for weekly workshops, guest speakers, and a second
birthday party room. The Children’s Museum is now able to
accept additional birthday parties on the weekends.
The Florida Cracker House exhibit, one of the original
four exhibits when The Children’s Museum opened in
2008, is proudly sponsored by RE/MAX of Stuart. With
their continued support, The Children’s Museum is able to
add new life and purpose into this visitor favorite. Over the
years RE/MAX of Stuart has continued to support events
and educational programs. They have also provided guest
speakers and conducted a sales activity for our summer
camp program. The Children’s Museum would like to thank
Jennifer Atkisson-Lovett and her team of realtors. One day
she may hire a realtor that “sold” the Florida Cracker House.
         Jennifer Atkisson-Lovett, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX
of Stuart explains how their support of The Children’s
      Museum began:
“RE/MAX of Stuart began their support and relationship
with TCM in 2005 … it was our 25th anniversary and we
put out a challenge to our agents that if they could help us
raise $25,000 for the museum then we would match it up
to $25,000! It was a huge success and we raised $100,000
during that campaign! Since then, my children grew up going
to the museum from babies to even teens. In fact, my son
completed his Eagle Scout Project at TCM in 2021! We are
honored to be able to give back to our community once again
by renewing our naming rights to the Florida Cracker House
and are excited to see it evolve and change into a space for
even more children to learn about houses, construction and
more! I truly believe in everything the museum does for our
community from bringing a safe place to play, to a place to
learn about our ecosystem, industries, history and more! I
love that we have this amazing resource right here in Jensen
Beach, and I encourage all of you to go check out the amazing
things they are doing day in and day out for the children in
      our community and beyond!”
The Children’s Museum is very grateful for the continued
support of RE/MAX of Stuart and their contribution allows
the museum to continue to evolve and remain relevant.
The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast continues
to grow and flourish each year and we are excited about the
exhibits still to come. If you would like to participate or would
like more information about future projects on the horizon,
please feel free to contact Katie Makemson, project manager,
      at (772) 225-7575, Ext. 205.
We look forward to seeing you playing and learning at See answer in this paper.
