The Historical Society of Palm Beach County
(HSPBC) has gratefully received a collection of photos,
drawings, clothing, and ephemera from the family that
owned famed Martha’s fashion salons of Worth Avenue,
Bal Harbour, and New York from 1934 to 2003. The

and is the son of the late Lynn Manulis, the daughter and
partner of Martha Phillips.
Five clothing items from the collection, including a
black and white crystal dress and jacket designed by James
Galanos, will be featured in the society’s 2023/24 special
