President’s Message

Congrats to our Board
Laissez les bons temps rouler! There was no better way
to start of my term as President then a Mardi Gras themed Member of Month
Installation Gala to install this year’s Board of Directors! We
paraded our way through into this new year with the Palm President Christina
City Chamber of Commerce with excitement and pride for Franco with Hampton
what we accomplished last term and what we are looking
forward to in this next. We created new pathways for events by Hilton
such as Women in Business Summits, a Workforce Housing
Symposium, and the Holiday Village at Palm City Place. We
continued to lead as the Education Chamber partnering with Palm City Chamber president Christina
our community for “Explore My Future” and delivered 10 Franco and Executive Director Missi

Spring brings us fun and festive activities to look forward to bringing our community
together. Following up from our Fall American Business Women’s Summit, our International
Women’s Day luncheon on March 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Indian River State College
- Chastain Campus showcased a panel discussing social, economic, cultural, and political issues Congrats to our
impacting women. Then, we will all gather for Spring Fest at the Martin County Fairgrounds Ambassador of the
on Sunday, April 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is an event like no other, featuring the famous
Cow Plop Bingo! This free event encourages us to cheer on the guest of honor, and hope that Month Daneil Wade
it plops on your winning square! Squares will be available for purchase through the Palm City
Chamber and at the event. For the first time at this event, we are partnering with the Early with NextHome
Learning Coalition of Indian River, Martin, and Okeechobee counties and will have a Touch-
A-Truck exhibit for all the kids (and kids at heart) to enjoy. The Board and I look forward to Atlantic Coast
seeing you at this event and celebrating our wonderful chamber!
