      presentation included selections from Lilyville – Mother
      Daughter and Other Roles I’ve Played, her 2021 memoir
      that tells the story of a mother and daughter whose
      narrative reflects American cultural changes and the
      world’s shifting expectations of women. In  Lilyville,
      Tovah shares heartfelt stories about courageous women
      and their stories of resilience while dealing with cancer.
      Each guest received a copy of Lilyville to take home.
         During the luncheon, a  special  tribute  was given
      to honoree Dr. Robert C. Knapp, a true pioneer in
      ovarian cancer research
      and  coinventor  of  CA
      125, the blood test which
      detects ovarian cancer.

      deserved honor that he shared with family and friends
      in attendance, along with Florida medical students that
      received his medical scholarships.
