About Life, Family And Mental Health
Singer and actor Marie Osmond took time from her busy
schedule to speak at the 24th Annual Old Bags Luncheon
®
benefiting the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County.
She talked about mental health in relation to her own struggles
with postpartum depression and the death of her son by suicide.

Mental health, which is at the forefront of the Center for
Family Services of Palm Beach County’s mission, is a very
personal issue with Osmond, who believes that by sharing her
stories, she can help others.
The Old Bags Luncheon is the Center for Family Services
of Palm Beach County’s signature fundraising event. The event
boasts an extraordinary silent auction offering a wide selection
of new or gently used authentic designer handbags. Lauren Day Roberts and Tracy Turko and Jennifer Mary Frances Walde and Karen Swanson, Todd
Tammy Pompea and Diane Smith chaired the 24th edition Harrison Morgan Tattanelli Connie Bradley L’Herrou
of the Old Bags Luncheon with Cecy Martinez serving as the
honorary chair. The event held at The Breakers Palm Beach Klopp, Kamie Lightburn, Mary Quick, Cecy Luxury Handbags
brought in more than 550 stylish guests and raised a record & Accessories, Mary Mahoney Palm Beach, Palm Beach
breaking $700,000 to benefit the center’s eight programs. Illustrated, UBS, Valley Bank, What2WearWhere.com by Karen
