The Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida also honored
country music star Chris Janson, who was introduced by
his best friend and the founder and CEO of Bass Pro Shops
and Cabela’s, Johnny Morris. Both are avid outdoorsmen
and supporters of wildlife conservation. Florida Power &
Light Company CEO Eric Silagy received the foundation’s
Corporate Conservation Partner Award.
Guests basked in the glow of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse,
bid on exclusive auction items, and enjoyed a surprise live
performance by Janson. Donors received a plush Florida
manatee for their commitment to safeguard wildlife and their
natural habitats.
