      Serge Strosberg Exhibit Reimagines Historic Florida Icons




        The Historical Society of
      Palm Beach County (HSPBC)
      held an opening reception on
      May 4 to unveil a new exhibit
      at the Richard and Pat Johnson
      Palm Beach County History
      Museum. Reimagining Palm
      Beach features new works by
      portrait artist Serge Strosberg
      of New York and Palm Beach,
      inspired by images of Henry
      Flagler, Addison Mizner, and                       Shira Weitz and Victoria  Ivy Sophir and Paul                             Ethan Root and Chris

        Author and Palm Beach
      historian Rick Rose composed captions that explain the artistic
      process, the sources of inspiration, and the history behind the
      images.
        This exhibit was made possible by a partnership with the
      Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce.
        Douglas C. Evans, president, and chief executive officer of
      the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, said, “Our continued
      partnership with the Historical Society of Palm Beach County is
      a relationship that is highly valued. To be able to work together
      to bring new audiences to their wonderful history museum,
      particularly young professionals is of utmost importance.”
        “The historical society was honored to welcome Serge   Drew Brasiel and Daniel
      Strosberg and this special exhibition to the Richard and Pat   Aguilera    Cayla Birk and Ryan Hollihan  Maureen Conte, Deborah Pollack and Victoria Piroso
      Johnson History Museum. History and art are integral parts of
      how we experience and showcase our community’s culture,”
      said Jeremy Johnson, Historical Society of Palm Beach County
      president and CEO, “In addition, it is important to continue to
      partner with the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce and its
      membership to share our local history.”
        Reimagining Palm Beach will be on display in the historic
      1916 courtroom through May 25.

      organization founded in 1937 to collect, preserve, and share the
      history of Palm Beach County and the larger context of Florida.
