Update On 2019 Tax Roll
July is an important month as my office submits the 2019
preliminary tax roll to Florida’s Department of Revenue
(DOR) and the local taxing authorities. The preliminary
tax roll is a systematic listing of information pertaining to
the market valuation of all real property within Palm Beach
County, for purposes of ad valorem taxation. These values
are based upon market conditions as of Jan. 1, 2019 and assist
taxing authorities in preparation for their upcoming budgets
and setting their proposed millage (tax) rates.
New property value in Palm Beach County continues to
grow our tax base along with steady increases in reassessment
for 2019.
Palm Beach County-wide taxable property values have
increased 5.73 percent from 2018 to 2019. These values are 747-PALM
subject to change.
Highlights include: 747-7256
• Total Market Value: $276,910,929,158
• Total Taxable Value: $198,072,878,205
