Christmas Cookies Star At
4Cs Luncheon
By Jackie Holfelder
One of the sweetest traditions of the holiday season
on the Treasure Coast took place on Monday, Dec. 9,
when the biannual Cookie Competition and Luncheon
to benefit Caring Children Clothing Children (4Cs) was
held at Mariner Sands County Club in Stuart.
Some 160 colorfully attired guests, imbued with the
spirit of the season, enjoyed a delicious lunch but saved
plenty of room to sample the mouthwatering cookies that
had been prepared by some of the area’s most skilled
pastry chefs.
They represented country clubs, businesses and
organizations, including Mariner Sands, Sailfish Point,
Monarch, Willoughby, Miles Grant, Piper’s Landing, Patty Stewart, Cookie Contest judge
