                                                                                                            by selling locally-grown food. It tastes better, it’s more
                                                                                                            nutritious, and it’s not subject to safety and security
                                                                                                            problems that plague modern factory farming.
                                                                                                              “We’re not all local yet,” Dawson continues. “Our small
                                                                                                            farmers didn’t have a place to sell before. But we buy as
                                                                                                            much as we can from them. It’s what our customers want.

                                                                                                            harvest year-round and produce more food per acre using
                                                                                                            fewer chemicals. To demonstrate this, he gave a local
                                                                                                            nonprofit, House of Hope, land next to the market to grow
                                                                                                            for market and their needy clients.
                                                                                                              Their first harvests should be available in the market
