It is with great sadness
that we mourn the loss
of our chairman of the
board, benefactor and
747-PALM Furry Friends advocate
Herb Baum. Herb
747-7256 died in Jupiter after a
battle with coronavirus
(COVID-19).
Philanthropy, heroism
and im pact ful
achievement marked
Herb’s entire life. Herb
was a tireless supporter
Palm Beach Beauty Salon of animal welfare and one of his proudest achievements
was being the first-ever recipient of Furry Friends CIGO
award for courage and integrity and service to animals.
Furry Friends president Pat Deshong said, “Herb
embodied the true meaning of selflessness, support and
10% leadership for Furry Friends. There are no words for us
to express what Herb has meant to our organization. He
touched all of our lives in an important and meaningful
OFF way, and helped thousands of animals. We have not only
lost our chief and captain but more importantly a dear
friend and family member.”

CEO of the Quaker State Corporation, president and
