      Elev8Hope Free

      Holiday Toy Giveaway

        Elev8Hope made the holidays much
      happier for hundreds of Martin County
      children at the nonprofit’s free holiday toy
      giveaway.
        In spite of the financial impact many
      have dealt with due to the ongoing
      pandemic, Elev8Hope’s “angels” were
      more generous than ever before.
        Some 147 bikes found new owners,
      6,400 gaily wrapped toys wound up in

                                                                                                             This free event with Santa is a tradition for Martin
                                                                                                           County youth and this year more than ever they were
                                                                                                           eager to participate.
                                                                                                             After months of their being separated from friends
                                                                                                           due to COVID-19 restrictions, Elev8Hope knew that the
                                                                                                           excited kids would be anxious to see their buddies.
                                                                                                             Nevertheless, volunteers and board members of the
                                                                                                           501(c)(3) were able to put on an event that followed strict
                                                                                                           safety guidelines without sacrificing holiday fun.
                                                                                                             In spite of the many cancellations that have abounded
                                                                                                           this year, Elev8Hope knew it could stage a “seminormal”
                                                                                                           event in a socially-distanced way.
                                                                                                             Food was provided by Sonny’s BBQ. M.E’s team was
                                                                                                           on-site to provide free underwear and socks to all and
