Fish And Wildlife Foundation Of Florida

Celebrates Conservation

Lionfish, panthers and bears! They were all a part
of the Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida’s “A
Night for Nature” gala. The event on Friday, April
9 at the Pelican Club in Jupiter raised more than $1
million to support Florida’s outdoor recreational
activities, protect native wildlife and educate future
generations.
As guests basked in the glow of the Jupiter
Inlet Lighthouse, they listened to live music and
bid on exclusive auction items. Donors received
a plush Florida panther for their commitment to
safeguard wildlife and their natural habitats. Laura
Coburn Russell, Tucker Frederickson and John Lacy Wayne Huizenga Jr., Steve Hudson Barbara and Jack Nicklaus Allison and Jack Nicklaus
cochaired the sold-out event.
The Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida
honored the lifetime conservation efforts of golf icon
Jack Nicklaus, philanthropist Paul Tudor Jones II and
Contender Boats through its founder and President Joe
Neber. All three are avid outdoorsmen.
