Teens Cheer for Israeli
Baseball Team
Among the Purim
celebrations at Chabad
of Palm Beach Gardens,
some teens had the unique
opportunity to join youth
Rabbi Yisroel Uzvolk
in facilitating a private
megillah reading and
Purim celebration for the
players and staff of Israel’s
national baseball team
at the Wyndham Grand
Jupiter hotel.
In support of Israel’s
baseball heroes, teens and
preteens also attended the
baseball game, Team Israel
vs The Washington Nationals, at the Ballpark of the Palm
Beaches. The energy was electric as Team Israel beat the
Nationals 9-0.
One of the fathers who joined the delegation said, “In times
of great uncertainty in Israel and in the face of growing anti-
Semitism, it was a real privilege to see and be part of so much
light and public support of Israel and Jewish culture. There was
even a kosher food stand and we put it to great use.”
